Independence Day at Vista Springs Northview

Each year the community members of Vista Springs Northview proudly wear their "red, white and blue" as they ride on Vista 1 in the Northville 4th of July Parade.

There are lots of laughs and reminiscing conversations that go on inside the shuttle as they wave to the spectators that line the streets. It is important to this generation to celebrate America's independance, so many of them paid a high price during WWII to ensure that freedom was not taken away.

World War II was a global war that lasted from 1939 until 1945.  This generation was highly affected by these events and we had a great time honoring those who sacrificed for our country and our freedom.  Storytelling is a great way for seniors to flex their brain power.  Participating in activities such as these creates bonds between community members and strengthens family legacies and memories.  Storytelling also is good for your mental health, it can help reduce stress and anxiety, as well as tap into the good memories that are precious to your senior loved one.

Activities and socialization are two important health indicators in seniors.  This ensures that they stay healthy mentally and physically and promotes an overall healthy lifestyle.  At Vista Springs, we know the importance of this and why we hold many activities for your senior loved one.   Our amenities will truly give the feeling of resort living, and the socialization will only add to the lifestyle Vista Springs promotes.  Whether you are just starting the journey of finding a home for yourself or your loved one, or you are ready to move in, Vista Springs will walk with you every step of the way.
